Cancellation

A $50 cancellation fee will be charged for missed or cancelled appointments within 24 hours of appointment time or 50% for 90/ 120 minute appointments.

If you need to re-book or cancel your appointment, please provide 24 hours notice to avoid paying the cancellation fee.  

At times we have clients waiting to take any available appointment, so your consideration is greatly appreciated.

Payment

Payment in full is due at the time of service.  Cash is preferred, or alternatively you may choose to bank transfer by prior arrangement.

 Gift Vouchers - TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Gift vouchers are not transferable and cannot be refunded.

The recipient will be asked to pay the difference, in dollar value, for any service the voucher does not cover.

The Cancellation Policy also applies to gift vouchers.

Your privacy is important to us and we take the responsibility of handling your personal information very seriously.  This privacy policy describes how we collect and handle your personal information at Elonda Massage Therapy.

 

Personal Identification Information

We may collect personal identification information from users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when users visit our site, register, fill out a form and in connection with other services, activities or resources we make available on our site.  Users may be asked for their name, email address, mailing address, phone number and credit card information. Personal identification information is only collected if voluntarily supplied.  Users can refuse to supply personal information; however this may limit or prevent services.  

Elonda Massage Therapy may contact clients for marketing and/or promotional purposes using the email address, postal address, and/or mobile numbers provided. Clients may remove themselves from the data base by request, or by using the ‘unsubscribe’ link found at the bottom of emails, or by replying ‘STOP’ to any sms received.

Elonda Massage Therapy may confirm appointments, provide reminders, or change appointments by email or SMS.

 

Collection and use of your information

Elonda massage therapy will only collect health information that is necessary for the purpose of providing massage therapy to the client.  This may include sensitive information such as your current and previous medical conditions, as necessary to provide the best treatment and on-going health care.  Other information is required so we can contact you and for billing and health fund purposes.

Sensitive, personal and health information is collected directly from the client.  Information will only be sought from other parties with the express permission of the client.

Collection and use of your personal, private and sensitive information

What does this include?

  • Name, address, phone number, date of birth – personally identifying information.

  • Information you provide regarding your physical or mental health, and general wellbeing.

  • Financial records relating to you e.g. health fund or credit card details.

  • Treatment notes recorded by your therapist.

  • Reports received from your GP, physio etc.

     

    Personal information will not be disclosed for any other purpose without consent.

    Exceptions include:

  • When there is a threat to the client’s safety (such as medical emergency) or the safety of others.

  • When the client authorises disclosure.

  • When the client has requested a written report from another health professional or agency.

  • When we are permitted or compelled by law to disclose (such as a subpoena).

     

    Individuals Right to access personal records

    Clients have the right to review personal and /or sensitive information recorded by Elonda Massage Therapy.  Clients have the right to have incomplete or inaccurate information amended.  Access will be provided upon written request.

    Clients are obliged to notify Elonda Massage Therapy of any relevant medical or personal information which may impact or impede their treatment.

     

    Storage and Security of personal information

    Client records are kept accurate and up to date.  When in use client records are never left unattended. When not in use client records are kept in secured locked storage with restricted access.

    Your information will be kept for at least as long after your last attendance as is legally necessary or required for administrative purposes. If your information is no longer needed after this time, it will be destroyed in a secure manner.

     

    Non-personal identification information

    When users interact with our site non personal identification information may be collected.  This information may include browser type, operating system and internet service providers etc.  This information is used in an aggregated manner to analyse how people use our site in order to improve services.

     

    Web Browser cookies

    Cookies are very commonly used amongst businesses and companies. We use cookies to improve the client experience when accessing our site. Cookies are small files which a website uses to identify you when you come back to the site and to store details about your use of the site.  Cookies are not malicious programs that damage or access your computer.
