COVID-19

Whilst the covid situation in Tasmania is now under control, I feel its important to remain vigilant.

Currently clients are no longer required to wear a mask in clinic. I will continue to wear a mask when working in close proximity to a clients face (in the face-up position) or for the whole treatment at the clients request.

I require clients to reschedule if they are unwell or have covid like symptoms.

In order to remain a safe clinic space, this clinic complies with Public Health and Work Health and Safety requirements.

I have a COVID-19 Safety Plan, Case and Outbreak Management Response Check List, Exposure Risk Matrix, and associated documents at the ready, should the current relaxed situation change. I value my clients, and endeavour to do everything I can to keep everyone safe.

To reduce the risk of COVID-19 I have asked my clients to postpone or cancel appointments if any of the following apply:

- symptoms of COVID-19: lightheadedness, chest pain, fatigue, fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose, shortness of breath, gastro

- close contact of a person with confirmed COVID-19

- currently in quarantine or home isolation

- live in a household with a person who is currently in quarantine or isolation

- waiting for a COVID-19 test result

In addition:

I allow a minimum of 30 minutes between appointments to attend to the following:

- all towels, table coverings, hand towels etc used during a treatment are replaced for each client and laundered by a professional laundry service.

- touched surfaces including the treatment table, face cradle, door handles, oil bottles, the column heater, towel warmer, floor, table, doorbell etc are disinfected between clients with Shieldme.

- the room is ventilated between clients with fresh air, and an air purifier is in use in the clinic space

- the toilet and bathroom surfaces are cleaned after use with Shieldme.

These processes and procedures are a summary of the more comprehensive plans in place. Please contact me if you have any concerns or require further information.

Thank you for your co-operation and patience.
